On 15 April 2008 Natalia Osipova was awarded the Golden Mask as Best Female Dancer for her performance of Twyla Tharp's In The Upper Room.


On 24 January 2008 the Bolshoi Theatre announced that Natalia Osipova was promoted to first soloist.


On 22 January 2008 Natalia Osipova received The Richard Sherrington Best Female Dancer Award in the UK's 2007 National Dance Awards (Critics’ Circle National Dance Awards).
